Carly Vagala
Early Childhood Director
Carly has been in Early Childhood for over sixteen years. Right from the start of her journey, she knew Early Childhood was where she wanted to be, so she began her studies.
Carly worked as a manager in various centers across Melbourne before her husband and her made the decision to move their family to Mansfield. Carly took on the role of Early Childhood Director here at Mansfield Community Cubby House in June 2023.

Teagan Hopgood
Assistant Early Childhood Director
Amongst having three children of her own, Teagan has been apart of Cubby House team for many years. With experience behind her Teagan guides fellow educators with enthusiasm and shares her knowledge to guide educators’ professional practice
​
She started off as a room educator across all rooms while completing her Certificate III in Children’s Services, then moving to complete her Diploma of Early Childhood, stepping up into the Assistant Director Role in April 2023.​
​
Teagan's favourite part of the job is when she is able to create amazing bonds with many children, helping a child settle in for the day, making them feel safe and comfortable. This also creates a sense of calm and ease for families.
Danielle Rogers
Assistant Early Childhood Director

Educational Leader
Danielle joined the Cubby team in January 2020. Since then, she has proven herself to be a passionate, dedicated team member who always brings a smile.​

Danielle returned to Cubby in April 2023 after maternity leave and stepped straight into the Assistant Director role, bringing with her a wealth of experience and professionalism. ​
​
Danielle's favourite part of the job is seeing children flourish in confidence and creativity when they are part of a supportive environment like the one at Cubby.
Chiara Jackson
OSHC Team Leader
Chiara is our Outside-School-Hours-Care Leader. She develops the OSHC program around our key pillars of respect, connectedness, and identity.
Chiara is passionate about safety and focuses the program around the children's voices and interests.
Anthea Lourey
Early Childhood Teacher
Anthea supports the learning, development, health and well-being of our Cubby Children. She plans activities to foster learning and development, observes, assesses and records children’s learning and development, encourages children to question, explore and be aware of their world. Anthea is also our Sustainability and Koori Curriculum Leader.
Shannon Cameron
Lead Early Childhood Educator
Shannon is our Giggling Galahs Lead.
